1. Who We Are

LD Groupe Digital Inc. ("we", "us", "our") is a technology company incorporated in the Province of Quebec, Canada. We operate LoanaBid, an online lead generation marketplace that connects Borrowers seeking loans with licensed Lenders through a live auction system.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with the LoanaBid platform (the "Platform"), in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Provided by Borrowers

When you submit a loan application on the Platform, we collect the following information that you provide directly:

• Identity information: Full name, date of birth;
• Contact information: Email address, phone number;
• Location information: Province of residence, city, postal code;
• Residency status: Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or other valid residency status;
• Self-reported financial information: Monthly income range, estimated credit score range, employment status;
• Loan request details: Requested loan amount range, loan purpose.

All financial information collected is self-reported by the Borrower. LoanaBid does not independently verify, assess, or validate any financial information provided.

2.2 Information Provided by Lenders

When a Lender registers on the Platform, we collect:

• Company name, business email address, phone number;
• Lending license number(s) and provinces of operation;
• Account credentials (password stored in encrypted form);
• Bidding activity, invoice history, and subscription information.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect limited technical information when you use the Platform, including IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This information is used solely for platform security, performance monitoring, and fraud prevention. We do not use any third-party web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

LoanaBid is a lead generation marketplace only. We explicitly do not collect:

• Social Insurance Numbers (SIN) — at no point;
• Financial documents — no bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, or proof of income documents;
• Credit reports — we perform no soft or hard credit inquiries whatsoever;
• Banking information — no account numbers, routing numbers, or payment card data stored on our systems;
• Biometric data — no fingerprints, facial recognition, or biometric identifiers of any kind.

All credit checks, document collection, and financial verification are performed exclusively by Lenders through their own processes and are entirely outside LoanaBid's scope.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate the Platform: Processing loan applications, managing the auction system, matching Borrowers with Lenders;
• To verify identity: Sending OTP (one-time password) verification codes to your phone and email to confirm your identity at application time;
• To communicate: Sending transactional notifications about your application status, auction results, and match confirmations via email and SMS;
• To manage Lender accounts: Processing bids, generating invoices, and managing subscriptions;
• For security and fraud prevention: Detecting and preventing fraudulent or abusive use of the Platform;
• For legal compliance: Fulfilling our obligations under applicable Canadian laws.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing profiling, or sale to data brokers.

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 With the Winning Lender (Auction Match)

When your application results in a successful auction match, your contact and loan request information is disclosed to the winning Lender so they may contact you to proceed with the loan process. By submitting an application, you explicitly consent to this disclosure.

5.2 Expired or Offline Pool Applications

If your application does not result in an auction match — whether due to no bids, auction expiry, or placement into the offline pool — LoanaBid reserves the right to share your application information with one or more Lenders who may be able to assist you. By submitting an application and accepting this Policy, you consent to this broader disclosure for the purpose of connecting you with potential Lenders.

5.3 Service Providers

We share limited personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform. See Section 6 for details.

5.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of LoanaBid, its users, or the public.

5.5 No Sale of Data

LoanaBid does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party service providers to deliver Platform functionality. These providers process personal data only on our behalf and under our instructions:

We do not use any third-party advertising networks, web analytics platforms, or data brokers.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

• Borrower applications: Retained for the duration of the active application and match lifecycle, and for a minimum of 12 months thereafter for audit and dispute purposes;
• Lender account data: Retained for the duration of the Lender relationship and for a minimum of 7 years thereafter for financial record-keeping purposes;
• Verification data (OTPs): Deleted immediately upon successful verification or expiry, whichever comes first.

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 12. We will fulfill such requests to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted password storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the applicable regulatory authority as required by law.

9. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Right to Correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to certain uses of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual limitations;
• Right to Complain: You have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe we have violated your privacy rights.

10. Geographic Restrictions

The LoanaBid Platform is operated exclusively for users located in the Canadian provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. We do not accept applications or registrations from residents of the Province of Quebec. If you are located in Quebec, please do not submit personal information through this Platform.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
